Mitaka City, Tokyo

Re:Glow Mitakadai — Private Personal Training near Mitakadai Station

Six minutes on foot from Mitakadai Station on the Keio Inokashira Line, in a quiet residential part of the Inokashira district of Mitaka City. One trainer, one client, one closed room — open from 9:00 to 23:00, seven days a week.

About language

Sessions are conducted in Japanese. Simple English and translation apps are welcome.

No trainer at this studio speaks English fluently, and we say so before you book rather than after. Coaching itself is largely demonstrated rather than explained, and members who are not confident in Japanese generally get on well with gestures, simple English and a translation app on a phone. Booking and follow-up questions go through LINE or email, where you can translate at your own pace.

Address, hours and contact

Japanese is given alongside the English so you can show it to a taxi driver or paste it into a map application.

Routes from the surrounding stations

  • From Mitakadai Station (Keio Inokashira Line) — about 6 minutes on foot. Leave the ticket gate and walk towards Inokashira-dori. It is essentially one straight road, which makes it hard to get lost on a first visit. On the way back there is a green walking path leading towards Inokashira Park.
  • From Mitaka Station (JR Chuo Line) — about 20 minutes on foot, or about 5 minutes by Keio bus from the south exit. Many members stop in on the way home from central Mitaka or from work.
  • From Kichijoji — two stops, about 6 minutes on the Inokashira Line. Musashino City, Hamadayama and Kugayama are all within roughly 10 to 15 minutes, and Nishiogikubo is reachable on a single Inokashira Line ride.
  • Parking. There is no car park and no bicycle parking at this studio. Please use one of the nearby coin car parks or a paid bicycle park. (Our Jindaiji studio does have a bicycle space, if you plan to cycle.)

What is inside

The studio occupies the basement floor of a concrete-clad residential building, which gives it the feel of a hidden room rather than a shopfront. Inside there is a single training area, a cafe space and a powder room. Because only one session runs at a time, the whole space is effectively yours for the hour.

  • Private training room. No shared floor, no queue for equipment, no audience.
  • Shower room and powder room. Bath towels and shampoo are provided, so training before work or before an evening out is practical.
  • Free rental of everything you need. Training wear in a range of sizes, towels, shoes and water. You genuinely can arrive with nothing but yourself.
  • Cafe space. Protein or coffee after training is included, and you are welcome to sit for a while before heading home.

Same prices at both studios

All figures include consumption tax. Members may book at either studio, so moving between Mitakadai and Jindaiji costs nothing extra.

Try Mitakadai before you decide

A trial visit takes about 90 minutes and costs nothing. It covers a counselling interview about your goals and physical history, followed by a real training session with a trainer. Wear, towel, shoes and water are provided, so come empty-handed. You are not expected to sign up on the day, and we do not run high-pressure sales.

If you decide during the visit that you want to start, bring photo identification and a credit card. Otherwise, take the information home and think about it.
